Vela is Meteor Lighting's architectural cylinder family for general illumination, spanning three apertures on one platform: the 4-inch Vela 4 (Ø4.2", 15W–25W), the 5-inch Vela 5 (Ø5.3", 15W–45W), and the higher-output 6-inch Vela 6 (Ø6.4", 50W–100W). Across the Standard cylinder configuration, delivered output ranges from 1,480 lm up to 9,906 lm at CRI 85 and 3000K/3500K/4000K color temperatures, from high-pressure die-cast aluminum housings with clear polycarbonate lenses. Beam optics run from 10° spot to 80° flood depending on size, and aluminum or polycarbonate shrouds (plus translucent or clear polycarbonate diffusers on Vela 6) tailor the look and distribution. Mounting covers surface, 2 ft/4 ft stem, 10 ft cord, and adjustable or sloped adjustable cable. Vela 4 and Vela 5 offer Superior 0-10V dimming to 1% (dims to dark), while Vela 6 integrates Meteor's VX Driver; TRC line-voltage phase control and DALI are available across the family.
