About this product
REV 8 Prime is Meteor Lighting's flagship high-output recessed downlight, engineered to replace 400–500 W metal-halide fixtures in high-ceiling commercial and public spaces. Five power packages from 95 W to 225 W deliver 10,970–28,000 lumens (from the datasheet's delivered-lumen table) at roughly 125–130 lm/W, drawn from a forged-aluminum heatsink housing with a flow-forming aluminum double reflector that gives the REV series its deep, low-glare "quiet ceiling" aperture. Static white is offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K in 30°, 45°, 55°, or wide (diffused) optics at CRI 85 or CRI 93. Meteor's proprietary VX Driver provides video-flicker-free performance (IEEE 1789) across Superior 0–10V (dims to 1% and to dark), TRC line-voltage phase (to 1%, 120V only), DALI (to 10%), and high-resolution DMX (to 0.1%). New-construction and retrofit configurations ship with a built-in 4 kV surge protector and non-IC forged housing, rated L70 at 100,000 hours (TM-21), ETL damp-location listed, and covered by a 5-year limited warranty; Colorflip Warm Dim, tunable-white, and Archi-Color W+RGB variants are available separately.
