Knife-Edge is Picasso Lighting's integral-driver cove-building fixture: instead of framing a cove out of sheetrock and wood or metal, the knife-edge extruded-aluminum housing hangs on a continuous wall-mounting bracket screwed to the studs, is covered in sheetrock, and becomes an eight-and-one-half-inch cove on a straight wall or square/rectangular room. The profile is 8-1/2" wide by 2-5/8" tall, extruded in whole-foot increments up to 12 ft in one piece with die-formed aluminum internals and mitered corners; units row continuously with quick-connect and splining hardware supplied, LED boards adjust in position angle, and no low-voltage wiring is needed — 120 or 277 V feeds the back of the fixture. The LED performance table publishes 350, 500, 750, and 1000 lm/ft indirect packages at 3.0-8.8 W/ft (115-118 lm/W at 3000K) behind a clear acrylic diffuser, with custom lumen outputs available. Standard CCTs run 2700K to 4000K in 80+ or 90+ CRI (3 SDCM), with tunable white 2700-5000K available. Lengths are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 ft plus custom; drivers are non-dim or 0-10V 1% dimming at 120/277 V, with Lutron EcoSystem 1% and custom controls optional and Lutron Athena wireless nodes, emergency battery driver, inverter wiring, and emergency circuit as options.
