Alcove is Lumenwerx's compact, high-performance cove luminaire: a 1 13/16" high by 3 7/8" deep LED fixture that installs directly in site-built coves and other architectural enclosures, either as individual luminaires or in continuous runs with quick-connect wiring. (Alcove Ramp is the same luminaire supplied inside its own sloped enclosure.) Light comes from the Asymmetric Projecting Optic (APO) — cartridge-mounted linear LED arrays paired with specular and matte-white reflectors behind a clear acrylic cover, with the cartridge angled 20º to produce peak intensity at 110º above nadir, an 11.8:1 peak-to-zenith ratio and 80º field coverage; for best beam spread the fixture is located at least 8" below the ceiling. Cartridges rotate upward on site up to 60º in 5º click-stops across 13 discrete aiming angles, so a run can be tuned to the ceiling. Delivered output spans five packages — eco low, low, medium, high and ultra high — measured per 4 ft at 1400, 2200, 3000, 3800 and 4800 nominal delivered lumens (350, 550, 750, 950 and 1200 lm/ft) with efficacy up to 134 LPW. LEDs are offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K with a minimum 80 CRI or an optional 90 CRI with elevated R9, held within 3 SDCM and tested to IESNA LM-80 showing L80 lumen maintenance beyond 60,000 hours. The universal-input (120–277V, 347V optional) driver dims 100% to 1% on 0–10V (NEMA 410 compliant), with Lutron Hi-Lume 1% Eco and DALI options and factory emergency-battery, emergency-circuit, night-light and generator-transfer add-ons. An adjustable mounting bracket raises the luminaire up to 3 5/16" in 1/8" increments to seat it flush in coves of different depths; individual luminaires reach 12 ft and continuous runs join 8 ft maximum modules, with driver and LED boards serviceable without removing the luminaire. ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, backed by a five-year limited warranty.
