Illusion (series IL1) is OCL Architectural Lighting's minimalist linear wall sconce, projecting a mere 2.50 in from the wall on a 1.50 in wide matte-anodized extruded-aluminum back channel behind a 5/32 in thick extruded virgin-white acrylic diffuser. The fixture is ADA compliant and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. It is offered in four lengths — 24, 36, 48 and 60 in — each mounting to a 4x4" octagon or 4" round J-box at three points. Two LED packages are published, shown at 3500K for 80+ CRI: LED1 delivers 1800 lm (24 in, 30 W), 2800 lm (36 in, 50 W), 3750 lm (48 in, 65 W) and 4750 lm (60 in, 85 W); LED2 delivers 2250 lm (24 in, 40 W), 3450 lm (36 in, 60 W), 4700 lm (48 in, 85 W) and 5950 lm (60 in, 105 W). Multiply by 0.95 for 2700K, 0.97 for 3000K and 1.03 for 4000K, and use a 0.85 multiplier for 90+ CRI lumens; the 24 in LED1 tests at 60 lm/W with a near-symmetric narrow-flood distribution (52% of output in the 0–90° zone, 48% in the 90–180° zone). Color temperatures are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K in either 80+ CRI (R9 > 0) or 90+ CRI (R9 > 50), on OCL proprietary LED arrays with Nichia 757 diodes and a universal 120–277V supply. Dimming is 0-10V to 1% standard (DM1); 0-10V to 0.1% and Lutron EcoSystem 1% (LDE1) are available as modifications with remote drivers, and a BIOS SkyBlue dynamic circadian light engine is optional. The body is extruded and machined aluminum with zinc-plated or stainless hardware. Designed and fabricated in St. Louis, Missouri; ETL listed to UL 1598 for indoor dry locations with an optional damp label, Build America Buy America (BABA) eligible, and RoHS compliant, with a five-year limited warranty.
