Equinox Ring is the ring-shaped member of Picasso Lighting's Equinox series, originally designed to echo reception-desk shapes and now used in transit and hospital common areas. Like the rest of the series it carries a 5" profile with at least 250 degrees of luminous white acrylic, and because Picasso bends the full 5" tube the rings have no seams like segmented competitors — the trade-off is fixed radius options, published as 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 20 ft outside diameters, each quoted at a 10-16 week lead time. Rings ship in 2-4 sections locked together with ring clamps for clean joints, with easy access to the driver and LED boards; per the spec overview all drivers are remote, and they can be tuned to specific lumen outputs. Direct output is offered in 350, 500, and 750 lm/ft opal-white-lens packages — the published performance table lists the 500 lm/ft package at 4.63 W/ft and 108 lm/W. CCTs run 2700K to 4000K in 80+ or 90+ CRI with 3 SDCM binning (0-10V-controlled tunable white available), and LED life is rated at 50,000 hours. Mounting is by aircraft cable with 48" gripper-adjusted cables and various canopies to a standard J-box; larger sizes may require Picasso's reinforced canopy, and big rings can add a non-lighted upper canopy ring for weight distribution. Drivers are UL-recognized, high-power-factor universal 110-277 VAC with 0-10V 1% dimming and non-dim options plus custom controls and an emergency battery driver; a BABAA-compliant build is offered.
