Royale is OCL Architectural Lighting's decorative LED pendant, built on a 14" diameter die-cast aluminum body wrapped in formed .125" steel-rod metal spokes that create its whimsical silhouette, offered in two styles — Royale Dome (RY1, 8.5" tall) and Royale Cone (RY2, 11.5" tall). An injection-molded frosted performance diffuser gives high transmission with zero LED imaging, and the light source assembly and drivers are field replaceable. Three LED packages are offered at the single 14" size — LED1 at 1650 lm (15 W), LED2 at 2750 lm (25 W) and LED3 at 3850 lm (35 W), reaching up to 110 lm/W (published photometry RY1 LED2 3500K: 110 lm/W, test no. 19811.0); figures are shown for 80+ CRI at 3500K (multiply by 0.95 for 2700K, 0.97 for 3000K, 1.03 for 4000K; 90+ CRI uses a 0.85 multiplier). The distribution is fully direct, with 100% of output in the 0–90° zone. Color temperatures are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K in 80+ CRI (R9 > 0) or 90+ CRI (R9 > 50) with 3-step LED binning, on OCL proprietary Nichia 757 LED arrays with universal 120–277V supply and 0-10V dimming to 1% standard (DM1); Lutron Hi-Lume EcoSystem 1% (DM3/LDE1) is available. Two hanging systems are offered — pendant with surface-mount canopy and single silver power cord to a 4"x4" octagon or 4" round J-box (P1CF), and pendant with flat canopy to an OCL-provided proprietary recessed J-box (P1FE) — both shipping with one of three field-adjustable overall heights (48", 100" or 144"). Reported lumen maintenance is L70 at >60,000 hours (calculated 185,000 hours) and L90 at 54,000 hours. Finishes include eleven powder coats (black, brass metallic, bronze, black textured, graphite, goldtastic, matte white, steel gray, silver metallic, sky white, white textured), plus RAL, Pantone and custom options. Designed and fabricated in St. Louis, Missouri; ETL listed to UL 1598 for dry locations (optional damp label), Build America Buy America (BABA) eligible, and RoHS compliant, with a five-year limited warranty.
