Nova is OCL Architectural Lighting's dome pendant — a spun-aluminum outer shade over a die-cast aluminum light-source assembly, with a recessed injection-molded frosted diffuser that gives high transmission and zero LED imaging. The metal shade is offered in 18, 24 and 36 in diameters and can be specified with a contrasting accent color on its inner surface for a two-tone look. At 3500K, 80+ CRI, delivered output climbs through five engines — LED1 1530/1670/1670 lm (15 W), LED2 2525/2755/2755 lm (25 W), LED3 3560/3880/3880 lm (35 W), LED4 5000/5500/5500 lm (50 W) and LED5 9500/10000/10000 lm (85–100 W) — across the three diameters at up to 110 lm/W, with a 0.85 multiplier for the 90+ CRI engine (LED5 requires the P1FI remote-driver hanging system). Color temperatures are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K in 80+ CRI (R9>0) or 90+ CRI (R9>50), with 3-step LED binning and a surface luminance under 1600 cd/m² that can contribute to WELL and LEED. Fixtures use OCL proprietary LED arrays with Nichia 757 diodes on universal 120–277V input, with 0-10V dimming to 1% standard (DM1) or Lutron Hi-Lume EcoSystem 1% (DM3, LDE1), field-replaceable light-source assembly and drivers, and three hanging systems: surface-mount canopy (P1FA), flat canopy on an OCL recessed J-box (P1FB) and remote-driver enclosure (P1FI).
