Aro (series AO2) is OCL Architectural Lighting's minimal-profile LED ring pendant, built on a fully welded extruded-aluminum body just 1.50" in cross section with a seamless extruded silicone diffuser that eliminates light leaks and visible seams. It is offered as a ring in five diameters — 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in — and can be clustered or built in custom sizes, shapes and configurations. A single LED package (LED1) delivers 1440 lm at 24 in (24 W), 2040 lm at 36 in (34 W), 2760 lm at 48 in (46 W), 3360 lm at 60 in (56 W) and 4080 lm at 72 in (68 W); figures are shown for 80+ CRI at 3500K (multiply by 0.95 for 2700K, 0.97 for 3000K, 1.03 for 4000K; 90+ CRI uses a 0.85 multiplier). Distribution is close to symmetric direct/indirect — 51% of output falls in the 0–90° zone and 49% in the 90–180° zone. Color temperatures are 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K in 80+ CRI (R9 > 0) or 90+ CRI (R9 > 50), on OCL proprietary Nichia 757 LED arrays with universal 120–277V supply and 0-10V dimming to 1% standard (DM1); Lutron EcoSystem 1% (LDE1) and a BIOS SkyBlue dynamic circadian engine are available. Six hanging systems are offered — vertical aircraft cables to separate mounting points (P1EM, remote driver), vertical cables with integral driver (P1DA), angled cables with integral driver (P1DB), four angled cables with remote driver (P1EU), and Power-Over-Cable variants (P1PA remote, P1PB integral) — all mounting to a 4"x4" octagon or 4" round J-box; P1EM/P1DA/P1DB/P1EU ship with one of three field-adjustable overall heights (48", 100" or 144"). Reported lumen maintenance is L70 at >60,000 hours (calculated 185,000 hours) and L90 at 54,000 hours.
