Shell Linear is the linear member of Lumenwerx's Shell platform — a sleek, balanced 4" x 2" die-cast-aluminum ring housing built for general illumination in workspaces and functional light over conference tables, break rooms, and circulation spaces. It mounts as an aircraft-cable or stem pendant (with an optional square canopy or remote driver box) or as a surface fixture, in standard 4, 8, and 12 ft sections (surface to 8 ft). A single High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) — 0.1" thermoformed diffusing acrylic with up to 70% transmission and a vertical return edge that illuminates the inside of the housing — delivers a soft direct distribution, with an optional up-light glow (white, blue, red, green, orange, or custom filter) at the upper edge for visual interest. Delivered output runs 250, 400, and 500 lm/ft (Low/Medium/High) with efficacy up to 97 lm/W. The light source is offered as static white (2700/3000/3500/4000K, minimum 80 CRI, 90 CRI with elevated R9 optional, held within 3 SDCM), BIOS SkyBlue Static and Dynamic circadian technology, Chromawerx Sola dim-to-warm (3500K to 2200K), Chromawerx Duo tunable white (2700K-6500K), and solid red, green, or blue. LEDs are tested to IESNA LM-80-08 with L80 lumen maintenance greater than 60,000 hours. The factory-set universal 120-277V driver dims 100-1% on 0-10V, with Lutron Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem, eldoLED 1% ECOdrive and 0.1% SOLOdrive, DALI, DMX (RDM compatible), and Lutron T-Series 1% tunable-white driver options, plus 347V and PoE compatibility. ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, WELL-aligned for circadian, glare, and color-quality features, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
