Shalo Ultra is Lumenwerx's ultra-slim member of the Shalo platform, a low-profile architectural linear family offered in 1.5-inch, 2-inch, 3-inch, and 5-inch apertures. Each aperture is documented on its own spec sheet and shares a common direct distribution, delivering 250, 350, 500, 750, 1000, and 1200 lm/ft packages (the lower apertures top out earlier: 1.5" and 2" at 750 lm/ft, 3" at 1000 lm/ft, 5" at 1200 lm/ft) with published efficacy up to 142 lm/W on the 5-inch aperture. Two low-profile optics tailor the look: the Shallow Lambertian Optic (SLO), a diffusing acrylic with matte-white reflectors for wide, even distribution, and the Shallow Micro-Prismatic Optic (SMPO), a micro-prismatic lens that balances refraction and reflection to reduce glare. The extruded-aluminum profile (up to 90% recycled content) is configurable from 2 ft single sections to seamless continuous runs over 8 ft in 1 ft and 1 in increments, joined on-site with the supplied joiner kits for a virtually seamless, leak-free result. Mountings span recessed (exposed or concealed T-bar / tegular grid, trim, trimless, drywall mud flange, wood-slat, and multiple-flange details), surface (twist-clip grid, universal ceiling clip, wood-slat bracket, or magnet on the 1.5-inch), and a dedicated perimeter configuration for 3-inch and 5-inch apertures. Static-white LEDs are available in 2700/3000/3500/4000/5000K at a minimum 80+ CRI, with an optional 90+ CRI with elevated R9, held to within 3 SDCM; LM-80 testing shows L80 lumen maintenance beyond 60,000 hours. Integral or remote drivers accept universal 120–277V (347V optional) input and dim 100% to 1% via 0–10V, with Lutron Hi-Lume 1% Eco, eldoLED 1% ECOdrive and 0.1% SOLOdrive, ELV, TRIAC, and DALI options, plus PoE compatibility and optional emergency-battery, night-light, daylight, and generator-transfer electrical sections. ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, IC rated for direct contact with insulation, Chicago Plenum (CCEA) approved with the CP option, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
