Shalo 3 is Lumenwerx's shallow-plenum recessed linear luminaire, just 2 3/4" deep, engineered to deliver a uniform luminous appearance with no LED pixelation. Two direct optics are offered: the Vee-shaped Lambertian optic (VLO) and the Trapezoid-shaped Lambertian optic (TLO), each built from side-mounted LED arrays coupled to an optical-grade acrylic light guide engraved with micro-structure optics, a 98% reflective diffuse-aluminum upper reflector, and a thin lower diffuser for source obscuration. Delivered output spans 500, 750, 1000 and 1200 lm/ft (low through ultra-high, roughly 18.5 to 50 W per 4 ft) with efficacy published up to 107 lm/W. Static white is available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K at a minimum 80 CRI, with an optional 90 CRI and elevated R9, held to within 3 SDCM. The luminaire is built from standard 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 ft sections joined on site with seamless joiner kits into continuous runs and patterns (see separate pattern spec sheets). It recesses into exposed or concealed T-bar and Tegular grid ceilings on 4" main runners, including Armstrong TECHZONE and USG, or into drywall with trim, trimless, or mud-flange details. An integrated universal-voltage (120–277V, or 347V with the D1 driver) driver dims 100–1% on 0–10V, with Lutron Hi-lume 1% EcoSystem and DALI options, and an optional factory-installed Li-Ion emergency battery delivers up to 1000 lumens per 4 ft for a minimum 90 minutes. IC rated and Chicago Plenum approved, ETL listed to UL 1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0 for indoor dry/damp locations, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
