Axle is Lumenwerx's compact, softly curved LED linear accent luminaire built for efficient asymmetric illumination of graphics, artwork, walls, and ceilings. Measuring just 2 11/16" by 3 11/16" in cross section, the extruded-aluminum housing carries cartridge-mounted Asymmetric Projecting Optics (APO): linear LED arrays paired with a semi-specular reflector under a clear acrylic cover for a 95-degree beam spread, with peak intensity at 30 degrees below nadir and a 5.2:1 peak-to-zenith ratio. The housing field-rotates in 15-degree detents (15 aiming positions) to throw light down onto a wall or up onto a ceiling, and optional field-installed white sheet-metal baffles (BAF) add lateral shielding. Delivered output spans 350, 550, 750, 950, and 1200 lm/ft nominal (eco-low through ultra-high), with efficacy published up to 139 lm/W. Axle is offered as an aircraft-cable pendant, a cantilever-arm pendant, and a wall-mounted cantilever arm (6", 12", 18", or custom to 24"), in individual sections up to 8 ft or continuous runs. Static-white LEDs are available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K at a minimum 80 CRI, with a 90 CRI option carrying elevated R9, held to within 3 SDCM; LM-80 testing shows L80 lumen maintenance greater than 60,000 hours. The factory-set adjustable-current driver takes universal 120-277V input (347V optional) and dims 100 to 1% on 0-10V, with Lutron Hi-lume 1% Eco and DALI protocol options, plus emergency battery, emergency-circuit, and night-light configurations. LED boards and the on-board driver are serviceable without removing the luminaire. ETL listed for indoor dry/damp locations to UL 1598 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 250.0, and backed by a five-year limited warranty.
