Seem 4 is Focal Point's 4" aperture recessed slot luminaire, a one-piece extruded aluminum housing that integrates cleanly with grid ceilings, drywall or hard/wood ceilings, and — in the FSM4LWL variant — indoor/outdoor wet locations. Individual units and continuous runs are assembled in 1" increments (2' minimum, up to 8' continuous sections) and can be ordered in L, U, and rectangular patterns with 90-degree corners. A range of shielding optimizes the balance of output and visual comfort: flush satin, asymmetric wall-wash, asymmetric room fill, batwing, regress and regress high-performance, and 0.5" or 1.5" pop-down lenses. Delivered output spans 275 to 1250 lumens per foot (750 lumens/ft on pop-down lenses), reaching up to roughly 138 LPW on the asymmetric room-fill distribution. The proprietary linear LED module is offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K in both 80+ and 90+ CRI, held to 3 SDCM, with a Tunable White 2700-6500K option; 3500K and 4000K at 90+ CRI carry a cyanosis observation index of 3.3 or less. The standard 120-277V UNV constant-current driver includes 0-10V analog dimming (10% LD1 or 1% L11), with Lutron Hi-Lume EcoSystem 1%, DALI 1%, and low-voltage PoE-compatible options, plus a full suite of Connected Solutions nodes and sensors (Wattstopper, WaveLinx, nLight, NX, Lutron Athena); emergency battery, emergency circuit, and daylight-circuit factory options are available.
