Slate is Axis Lighting's low-profile architectural linear family, just 1 5/8" tall on a 4" face, offered in direct and direct/indirect distributions across pendant, surface, wall, recessed, and cove/perimeter mountings with a choice of flat or radius end caps. The extruded-aluminum housing (up to 0.075" nominal) carries a uniform frosted acrylic lens and is configurable in 1-inch increments from 2 ft to 8 ft sections, joining into continuous system runs beyond 8 ft. Nominal output runs 350–1200 lm/ft up and 350–1000 lm/ft down, with efficacy published up to 129 lm/W. Slate ships with 80 or 90 CRI static white (2700/3000/3500/4000K) or tunable white (2700–5000K), dimmable via 0–10V 1%, Lutron Hi-lume EcoSystem, bi-level, DALI, DMX, or PoE. Certified to UL and CSA and damp-location rated, with a 5-year warranty.
