MRI Beam 2 is the 2-inch-aperture member of Axis Lighting's MRI-safe recessed architectural linear range, engineered for the electromagnetic environment of magnetic-resonance imaging suites. Independently tested and certified to MIL-STD-461-G for conducted and radiated emissions and driven at 24V constant voltage from a separately ordered remote power supply (RPS) via MOLEX quick-connect plugs, it delivers, per foot at 3500K, 750 lm/ft with the Spotless lens (9 W/ft, 84 lm/W), 650 lm/ft batwing (76 lm/W), 370 lm/ft wall-wash, and 360 lm/ft graze — all at 90 CRI across 3000/3500/4000/5000K. The extruded-aluminum profile (2 17/32" W × 3 1/4" H, up to 70% recycled content) recesses into 15/16-inch or 1½-inch T-bar and configures from 2 to 12 ft in 1 ft increments into continuous system runs. It sits within Axis's BalancedCare MRI collection alongside MRI-safe Beam 4, Pixel, Sketch, sconce, undercabinet, and flexible-ambient fixtures. IC-rated, NSF approved, and cULus listed, MRI Beam 2 carries a limited 5-year warranty.
