Linear Island is aaline's central-canopy suspended island luminaire, built on the brand's Linear Embedded (LW-EB) chip-on-board engine and finished as a dual-celled, CNC-carved anti-glare fixture. Its proprietary carved-visor design seats the light source higher in the body so the carved cell reflects and diffuses output, achieving UGR<16 to meet WELL glare-reduction requirements. The fixture is offered as a single light (1-3/4"W x 3"H solid-hardwood profile, 500 lm/ft) or a double light with up to two parallel lights in one body (3-3/4"W x 3"H, 1000 lm/ft), in lengths from 2' to 8' in 2' increments over a polycarbonate tube diffuser. Direct, Indirect (3'+ lengths), and Direct + Indirect distributions are available, with the indirect component at 30% of lm/ft. LEDs are offered at 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, all 90+ CRI, driven by programmable integrated or remote drivers with 0-10V, TRIAC/ELV, DALI, or Lutron EcoSystem dimming on 110-277V. Bodies are finished in FSC-certified hardwoods (Walnut, White Oak, Cherry, Hard Maple, White Ash), FENIX NTM, or satin painted finishes, with anti-glare cells in Natural, White Cell, or Black Strip; canopies come in white, black, or custom.
